Our Mission

Our mission at JW Career Consulting is to fill the gap in career education so that it is inclusive for everyone at every stage of the career lifecycle. Whether you are just starting out in your career or looking to make a change, we are here to provide guidance and support every step of the way. We offer a range of services to support clients in their career progression, including career counselling, job search strategies, job application support, interview coaching, networking strategies, and more.

Justine "Jay" Warne (She/her)

Jay has extensive experience working with people in early to mid careers in both private industry and higher education sector. She understands the pressure of making a career transition and feeling 'stuck' in a career path. She works with clients and groups to identify strengths, values and interests in order to find meaningful and sustainable work.

  • Job and career transitions between industries

  • Identifying skills, values and motivation to find meaningful work

  • Navigating work for the LGBTIQ+ community

  • Progressing in your mid career and negotiating pay

  • Grad job applications (resumes, cover letters, interviews, assessment centres)

Jay holds a Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management) and a Graduate Certificate in Career Development and Education from RMIT. 

She is a registered professional member of the Career Development Association Australia.

Coming out and having a career crisis often go hand-in-hand as we start to shed our 'old' identity and rebuild as ourselves.

 

As a proud member of the LGBTIQ+ community, Jay brings a deep understanding of the challenges faced by queer individuals when it comes to finding work and navigating current workplaces.
